School of Accountancy at CSU Fullerton invites applications for part‑time lecturer positions in Accounting and Taxation. Positions are temporary, with appointments often made shortly before the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on short notice.
ResponsibilitiesTeach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, taxation, and related subjects. Integrate technology into instruction and engage culturally diverse student populations.
Required Qualifications- Masters or ABD, PhD in Accounting/Taxation or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse students.
- Potential for integrating technology into instruction.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching.
- Teaching, research, and industry experience in accounting.
- Significant teaching experience with diverse populations and fostering inclusive environments.
- Relevant professional experience.
- Accounting credentials such as CPA, CMA, or CA.
Classification Range: $5,507 – $6,677 per month. Anticipated hiring range based on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month. Compensation prorated for part‑time units, paid in six monthly payments. Benefits and total wellness information available through university resources.
Employment ConditionsAll part‑time faculty appointments are made as Lecturers under the CSU collective bargaining agreement. The appointment lasts one semester and may be renewed. Appointments are contingent upon successful completion of a background check. The position requires compliance with mandated reporter responsibilities under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.
