Graphic Design Instructor Pool – Part‑Time
Fullerton College, part of the North Orange County Community College District, seeks a part‑time instructor to teach beginning and intermediate courses in UI/UX design, motion graphics, and responsive web design as part of our daytime schedule. The instructor will guide students through user‑centered design processes for digital platforms and mobile‑first web development, emphasizing conceptual thinking, accessibility, current industry tools, and professional workflows.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in UI/UX design, motion graphics, and responsive web design for beginning and intermediate levels.
- Guide students through user‑centered design processes and mobile‑first web development.
- Apply industry best practices, tools, and professional workflows to course content.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- or Associate degree and at least six years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- or valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject area.
- or equivalent qualifications as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
- demonstrated commitment to diversity, with sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students.
- Prior college‑level teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with faculty, staff, and community partners to design and implement initiatives supporting historically underrepresented, marginalized, non‑traditional, multilingual, and learning‑disabled students.
