We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology (MSIDT) Student Services Professional II. Supports graduate admissions, student success, and program operations through advising, outreach, and innovation - making an impact as you help future instructional leaders thrive in a dynamic digital learning environment. Under the general supervision of the College of Education Director of Advising and Student Success and daily oversight by the Director for the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology (MSIDT) program, the MSIDT Student Services Professional II coordinates the admission process, procedures and student advising for the MSIDT certificate and graduate program. Provides information on admission requirements, program completion requirements, academic notice, and stop-out policies.

Utilizes university, college and department policies and procedures to assist students. Monitors graduate writing requirement completion. Reviews and recommends students for graduation checks. Coordinates outreach and recruitment activities, with special effort to recruit students from underrepresented populations. Coordinates and presents program overviews. In collaboration with the MSIDT Director, coordinates new student orientation. Assigns students to cohorts and provides registration information.

Serves as liaison between department and Dean’s office/oversees department daily operations. Coordinates logistics for orientation, faculty meetings, department events, and special projects. Researches and prepares reports. Compiles data (e.g., graduate student course needs) as needed by the Director. Oversees schedule of classes and space utilization. Verifies and edits changes for scheduling. Participates in applicable meetings, committees, and training. Collaborates with the Director on content development and maintains updates to all candidate handbooks and forms.
