Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our fast-growing engineering division. This role is pivotal in our organization, responsible for overseeing all engineering projects, processes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong technical background and a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Direct and coordinate the design validation process to verify that the product meets specified requirements and intended use.
  • Lead project and program management, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration across different teams and departments.
  • Oversee product qualification and qualification retention processes, ensuring all products meet the necessary standards and regulations.
  • Manage the Fastener Division Engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Drive new product development initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture in a high-volume environment, promoting efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and senior management, presenting reports and updates on project progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest engineering trends and advancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering management role, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
  • Proven experience in Design Validation, Project/Program Management, Product Qualification, and Qualification Retention.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Fastener Division Engineering and New Product Development.
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment, managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to overcoming challenges.
