Manufacturing Automation Engineer
Fullerton, CA
Qualifications:- BS in Engineering
- 3+ years as an Automation Engineer in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and integration using Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Allen‑Bradley, robotics, machine vision systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
- Proficiency with Solid Works for tooling/fixture design and equipment layout review.
- Basic programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python and C++ for automation support, data analysis, equipment interfacing, and process improvement.
- Develop and implement automated and semi‑automated manufacturing solutions across multiple product lines, including fluids and electro‑mechanical hardware.
- Work with both assembly and machining operations to develop unique solutions and customize existing available equipment for multi‑disciplinary manufacturing.
- Lead cross‑functional projects, coordinate vendors, manage timelines, and resolve potential production issues.
