Job SummaryThe Junior Account Manager obtains pricing, delivery timelines, and stock information for requested items through phone calls, email, and web platforms. This role requires accurate and efficient entry of gathered information into the ERP system, active phone engagement with sales representatives, and timely completion of assigned tasks, with completed work submitted to the manager.
Key Responsibilities- Contact vendors to procure pricing, delivery time, and stock information for requested items, including required phone calls.
- Accurate and efficient data entry of obtained information into the ERP system.
- Use various communication channels such as email, web platforms, and phone calls to gather necessary details.
- Actively engage with sales representatives via phone to obtain relevant information.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timelines and submit completed work to your manager.
- Fluent in Japanese.
- Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Business or equivalent years of experience.
- 1-2 years of prior experience in an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
- Mechanical speediness in keyboard typing and hotkeys.
- Strong math skills, with a solid command of percentages.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; able to interact confidently over the phone.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- This position requires frequent use of the phone to contact vendors and sales representatives; strong communication skills are essential.
- This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
