Principal System Security Engineer

Clearance Required:

Secret (must be active).

We’re looking for a Principal System Security Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role supports database operations, system sustainment, and data reliability for secure, mission-critical environments. In this role, you’ll contribute across the engineering lifecycle—from design and development through integration, testing, production support, and sustainment.

• Support database operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to database-related work requests and integration needs.
• Maintain schema, design, and support documentation.
• Partner with system maintainers and engineering teams.
• Help improve reliability, performance, and operational readiness.

• Experience in designing, implementing, testing and fielding real oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies and guidelines.
• Virus, Vulnerability Assessment, HIDS/NIDS, host.
• Factor Authentication (MFA), and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and centralized auditing tools familiarity with Splunk is preferred.
• Linux Bash scripting or Python scripting experience.
• Security systems engineering involving various computer hardware and software S/W operating system and application solutions in both a stand.
• Security features and/or vulnerability analysis of various operating systems as defined by Intelligence agencies.

• Onsite role in Fullerton, CA.
