Collins Aerospace Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) Engineering is seeking a Senior Principal Dev Sec Ops  Software Engineer to join a dedicated Dev Sec Ops  team that is building cutting-edge systems to keep military personnel safe, connected, and informed. Collaborate with industry experts on next-generation embedded software communication products, cryptography, and state-of-the-art computing architectures.

What You Will Do
  • Co-lead the advancement of Dev Sec Ops  roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Spearhead cutting-edge Dev Sec Ops  tools and technologies.
  • Champion Dev Sec Ops  best practices across the organization.
  • Design and implement complex automation pipelines for embedded systems in air-gapped environments.
  • Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning using static and dynamic application security tools (SAST/DAST).
  • Develop complex containerized environments and applications.
  • Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure.
  • Build dashboards for observability and performance reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Well-versed in Dev Sec Ops  principles, benefits, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience developing in air-gapped, on-premises environments.
  • Skilled in Bash and Python.
  • Seasoned experience with Git Lab and Git Lab Runners.
  • Expertise with containerization tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and IaC tools like Terraform or similar tools.
  • Seasoned experience in Linux environments.
  • Experience with JFrog Artifactory or equivalent artifact management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking and protocols.
  • Active U.S. government-issued security clearance (must be transferable).
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
