Shipping Coordinator

Our client, aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be part of the logistics department supporting shipping and documentation workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Coordinate daily outbound shipments to meet customer delivery schedules and internal production timelines

+ Schedule carrier pickups, shipping appointments, and transportation logistics

+ Manage and prioritize shipment workflow, including handoffs between shifts or team members

+ Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and export documentation

+ Support international shipping and export processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED required

+ 3+ years of shipping, logistics, or distribution experience in a manufacturing or high-volume environment

+ Strong experience with shipping documentation, scheduling, and coordination

+ Working knowledge of export shipping and customs documentation

+ Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, tracking data)
