We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as a Custodian. The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to inclusivity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

• Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, provide custodial duties in and around assigned buildings or portions thereof within the housing community.
• Work with chemicals and safety equipment, cleaning and disinfecting drinking fountains, restrooms, sinks, fixtures, toilets, urinals, showers, bathtubs and replenishing all supplies.
• Clean dispensers, mirrors, tile, walls, doors, glass, whiteboards, windows/sills, blinds and drains.
• Remove trash and debris to outside dumpsters; remove decorations and flyers.
• Clean kitchens, stoves, ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, offices, breakrooms, hallways, conference rooms, and stairs; dust and mop tile and clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces.
• Clean upholstery, furniture, desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, and counters; sweep, scrub floors, mop, scrub tile grout, wax, buff floors, strip tile, polish floors and concrete.
• Vacuum, spot‑clean and clean carpets; power wash and remove graffiti, gum, cobwebs.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs, change lights, and clean equipment.
• Complete special projects including event set‑up, moving furniture, laundry and linens.
• Use a computer to complete work assignments, training and leave requests; perform other duties as assigned.
