Facilities Management seeks an exceptional individual to join our Custodial Services team as the Lead Custodian. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, an active and energetic mind, and a commitment to diversity and integrity.

The Lead Custodian works with and acts as lead worker for a group of custodians, does related work as required, and provides excellent customer service. This position cares for campus cleanliness, works well in a team environment, and understands the balance of sharing duties and taking ownership.

• 1-2 years of related custodial experience
• Demonstrated working knowledge of custodial work methods, materials, and safety practices
• Ability to provide lead work direction and training
• Ability to read and write in English and use computers to track work orders

• Previous experience in a large educational institution
• Previous experience leading custodians

Extended periods of physical activity, working with chemicals, and moving in and out of buildings in various weather conditions. Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as assigned.
