Position: Materials Specialist I
Basic Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED preferred.

* Minimum 1-year experience related to materials and/or shipping/receiving

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of ERP and/or SAP systems

Key Responsibilities:

* Moving raw materials throughout the manufacturing process as needed to maintain production schedules.

* Maintain inventory accuracy and control of material stores including finished goods and raw materials

* Package, stage, and ship finished goods. When necessary, expedite critical shipments

* Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement daily by your actions

* Take the initiative to resolve materials related issues with interaction from supervisor/Manager

* Perform physical counts of products/components in the manufacturing process or in storage as needed to assist in inventory audits.

* Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers, and suppliers

* Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions. Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor

* Able to work with minimum or no supervision

* Practice 5s standards and keep area clean daily

Physical Demands:

* Must be able to lift/move 30 lbs. (may not exceed per EHS policies)

* Must be able to stand for long periods of time

* Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

* Requires bending, squatting, reaching.
