Position Overview
As a Processing Associate, you will be part of our team located in Fullerton, CA (1425 Acacia Ave, Fullerton, CA, 92831, US). This is a full-time, on-site position.
Compensation & ShiftSalary Range: $21.00 plus shift differential and eligibility for an annual bonus.
Shift: Processing Associate - 2nd shift.
Responsibilities- Apply coatings and paints to aerospace parts using spray equipment or manual techniques.
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, roughen, or prepare surfaces for coating.
- Prepare parts for finishing by masking and unmasking components according to work instructions.
- Ensure uniform and defect-free finishes by carefully following process guidelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications to determine finishing requirements.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Follow safety procedures and properly handle hazardous materials, including paints and solvents.
- Complete production logs and documentation as required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of learning, development, and training experience.
- Proficiency in using spray painting equipment and sandblasting tools.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect surface imperfections.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling coatings, chemicals, and protective equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in L&D in a manufacturing setting.
- Previous experience in aerospace finishing, painting, or processing.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
