Processing Associate
Job DescriptionAs a Processing Associate, you'll be part of our team located in Fullerton, CA. Your key responsibilities will include applying coatings and paints to aerospace parts using spray equipment or manual techniques, operating sandblasting equipment to clean, roughen, or prepare surfaces for coating, preparing parts for finishing by masking and unmasking components according to work instructions, ensuring uniform and defect-free finishes by carefully following process guidelines, reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications to determine finishing requirements, inspecting finished parts for defects and ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards, maintaining and cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations, following safety procedures and properly handling hazardous materials, including paints and solvents, and completing production logs and documentation as required.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years in learning, development and training.
- Proficiency in using spray painting equipment and sandblasting tools.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect surface imperfections.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling coatings, chemicals, and protective equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in L&D in a manufacturing setting.
- Previous experience in aerospace finishing, painting, or processing.
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
- Eligibility for annual Bonus
- If applicable, additional shift differential.
