Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our client, aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the operations support team supporting manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** 1st Shift

** What's the Job?*
* + Receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw materials, outside processing materials, and other components

+ Physically handle and verify materials upon receipt, ensuring accuracy for inventory or customer orders

+ Perform detailed inspection for quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and proper coding and identification

+ Utilize precision tools such as calipers and weight scales to verify part specifications

+ Accurately document inventory movements in ERP/inventory systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar)

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED required

+ Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and scales

+ Strong comfort with dimensional readings and basic inspection techniques

+ 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or similar hands-on role preferred

+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to quickly learn product variations and inspection requirements
