Support the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) program by developing, modeling, and testing algorithms for GPS navigation systems. Work independently and collaboratively to conduct statistical analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and troubleshooting. Over time, provide guidance and training to peers.

• Support development of algorithms, tools, and models for the JPALS program.
• Conduct statistical analysis, probability theory, and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Support independent research and analysis.
• Work with a small team to analyze system troubleshooting and performance.
• Understand technical papers and algorithm descriptions and integrate them into high‑fidelity models.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and conduct team presentations.

• Proficient in MATLAB – code optimization and numerical stability.
• Experience with data analysis and problem solving, including anomaly investigation.
• Hands‑on model‑driven design using Simulink and auto‑generated code.
• Knowledge of basic software development principles – configuration control, collaborative development, formal processes.
• Ability to read and develop algorithm descriptions, mathematical expressions, derivations, matrix manipulations, outlier analysis, and system‑level analysis.
• Understanding of the systems engineering discipline.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in STEM with 5 years relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3 years relevant experience
  ).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

• Complex statistical analysis and/or mathematical modeling experience.
• Experience developing solutions for GPS navigation systems and GNSS theory.
• Familiar with requirement development and sell‑off.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work.

Annual salary range: $95,500 – $181,700 USD.
