Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.;
Saturday availability 5–8 hours as needed.
Detail‑oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk needed for aerospace fittings manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, handling, and documenting incoming materials and outgoing products, using precision measurement tools, operating pallet jacks, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw materials, outside processing materials, and other components.
- Physically handle and verify materials upon receipt, ensuring accuracy for inventory or customer orders.
- Perform detailed inspection for quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and proper coding/identification.
- Utilize precision tools such as calipers and weight scales to verify part specifications.
- Accurately document inventory movements in ERP or inventory systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Purchasing teams to ensure material flow aligns with operations.
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in compliance with customer and aerospace requirements.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
- Operate manual pallet jacks; forklift operation may follow completion of company training.
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and aerospace industry standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and scales.
- Strong comfort with dimensional readings and basic inspection techniques.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or similar manufacturing role (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn product variations quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (ERP systems, email, Excel).
- Flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of materials and processes.
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required (training provided).
- Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and compliance standards (MIL‑STD, etc.).
- Understanding of ITAR, EAR, and export compliance regulations.
- 3+ years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience (preferred).
