Schedule: Mon - Fri, 1st shift
Location: Fullerton, CA
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join their manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on assembly work, has good manual dexterity, and takes pride in producing high-quality products.. In this role, You’ll work with small coils and components using hand tools, fixtures, soldering equipment, measuring tools, and specialized equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Apply tape to wound coils using hand tools and fixtures.
- Attach and solder lead wires to coils using dip-soldering techniques.
- Secure lead wires and apply final tape by hand or using a tape application machine.
- Assemble coils into housings using hand tools, fixtures, epoxy, and adhesives.
- Perform coil testing according to established work instructions.
- Use rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.
- Follow work orders, customer specifications, drawings, and written/verbal instructions.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and production efficiency.
- Complete repetitive, detailed work while maintaining consistent attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic English reading skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Spanish or English communication is acceptable.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small components and coils ranging from approximately 1⁄4" to 11⁄2" in diameter.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and measuring instruments such as rulers and calipers.
- Ability to perform detailed close-up work; corrective lenses may be needed, and some tasks are performed under magnification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused during repetitive work.
- Reliable, dependable, and consistent work ethic.
- Ability to balance quality and production expectations in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
