Department

The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs plans and manages all academic and instructional resources that support the teaching, scholarship, and research mission of Cal State Fullerton. The office strives to serve as a central resource for the campus community, ensuring quality academic programming and fostering partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to promote and support faculty and student success.

The Office of the Provost achieves this by empowering faculty, staff, administrators, and students with the knowledge and support necessary so that we can each carry out our individual roles in fulfilling our university’s mission. We seek an exceptional individual to join our Operations team as the Marketing Communications Professional III, Office of the Provost. Duties and Responsibilities

Working with the Office of the Provost leadership team, the Marketing Communications Professional III is responsible for leading communication, marketing, web development, website administration, and special project initiatives that support the division's mission and goals. Working independently and collaboratively with campus stakeholders, the Marketing Communications Professional III researches, plans, coordinates, and implements projects that enhance the division's visibility, engagement, and operational effectiveness.

The position develops and executes comprehensive communications and marketing strategies; creates, writes or edits materials, and disseminates print and digital content; manages and maintains Academic Affairs websites; and supports or maintains social media presence. The Marketing Communications Professional III serves as a primary communications resource for the Office of the Provost, ensuring consistent messaging, and alignment with CSU and CSUF brand standards, accessibility compliance, and high-quality user experiences across digital and traditional platforms.

Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications
