RN - Perinatal Educator

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA seeks an RN to serve as a Perinatal Educator in outpatient classes for expectant and new parents. This is a per-diem position with 8-hour day shifts and weekend rotations based on patient needs. Flexibility to work weekends and variable days throughout the month is required.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.

• RN experience in Maternal / Newborn Services.
• BLS Instructor certification through American Heart Association, or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• IBCLC Certification.
• Childbirth Educator certification, or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
