Health Services Director – Training

• Trained by department heads at the community level
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of managing a team as a Health Services Director
• Placed at a community to work under a current Health Services Director for on-the-job experience

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Minimum of six months in current position for candidates from Oakmont
• Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse
• One (1) year experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
• California LVN or RN License in good standing
• Willing to travel throughout the state during the training process
• Open to relocation for a permanent position
• Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership
• Prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Passion for serving older adults
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals
• Proficient in basic computer systems and ability to learn electronic health records
• Adaptable, able to prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
• Coachable and highly motivated

Demonstrates strong clinical leadership and interpersonal skills while managing a team in a health services environment. Proficient in working with seniors, including those with cognitive impairments, and adaptable in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
