Job Post-RN Certified School Nurse

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Certified School Nurse for the 2026/27 school year in the Fullerton, CA area.

Must have CA SCRN

6 hours daily (sub role must be okay with getting a call the morning of)

August 10 th , 2026

26/27 School Year

Grade Level: High school grade, in person

Local Rate : $50/hour

The Certified School Nurse (CSN) identifies and treats health conditions among students in the school setting. The CSN provides instruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention. The Certified School Nurse must assess the student’s physical condition in the school setting and refer the student to appropriate resources as needed to be successful in school.

• Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices

• Certification or Credential in school nursing, required

• One year prior school nursing experience required

• Pediatric experience, preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
