Labor and Delivery Nurse - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
We are seeking experienced Labor and Delivery Nurses to provide exceptional care in our Labor and Delivery unit. This position requires expertise in performing sterile vaginal exams and triaging obstetrical patients independently, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage of obstetrical patients.
- Assist with labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Administer medications and monitor maternal and fetal health.
- Provide postpartum care and support to new mothers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered based on experience.
- Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
- Certifications:
ACLS, BCLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced.
