• Duration: Approximately 16 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,480 - $2,610
• Weekend Coverage: Required; flexibility to work every other weekend or as needed by the unit
• Floating: May float to Mother Baby
• Charting System: Meditech
• Parking: Free parking available

• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required; strong experience preferred
• Current Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Experience with obstetrical triage required
• Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Advanced certification required
• Epic or equivalent charting experience preferred
• Willingness to work weekends and major holidays as scheduled
• Open to floating to like units as needed

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetric patients
• Perform triage assessments and sterile vaginal exams with accuracy and confidence
• Support patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and high-risk obstetric situations
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and related obstetric procedures
• Administer medications and interventions such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and IV therapies as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote safe patient outcomes
• Educate and reassure patients and families throughout the birthing process
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies
