Located in Fullerton, CA 92835, this Orange County community offers a welcoming setting with convenient access to local dining, entertainment, and outdoor activities throughout Southern California.

- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 16 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,480 - $2,610
- Weekend Coverage: Required; flexibility to work every other weekend or as needed by the unit
- Floating: May float to Mother Baby
- Charting System: Meditech
- Parking: Free parking available
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required; strong experience preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Experience with obstetrical triage required
- Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- AWHONN Advanced certification required
- Epic or equivalent charting experience preferred
- Willingness to work weekends and major holidays as scheduled
- Open to floating to like units as needed
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetric patients
- Perform triage assessments and sterile vaginal exams with accuracy and confidence
- Support patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and high-risk obstetric situations
- Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and related obstetric procedures
- Administer medications and interventions such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and IV therapies as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote safe patient outcomes
- Educate and reassure patients and families throughout the birthing process
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies
