Position Overview

As a Branch Banker within PNC's Retail organization, you will be based in our Fullerton branch, Whitehall, PA. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. You will acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, manage the customer experience, and drive new revenue and loyalty through PNC solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community centers of influence to grow the customer's share of wallet.
  • Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Conduct proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service-to-sales opportunities, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement.
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
  • Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Maintain heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.
  • Participate in branch daily operations to ensure they are completed efficiently and accurately.
Expected Competencies
  • Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction with business decisions.
  • Managing Risk – Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with business objectives to support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Qualifications
  • Strong accountability and ethics.
  • Experience in banking, client loyalty, and customer experience (CX).
  • Proactive sales and prospecting skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Digital awareness and proficiency with technology tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a matrix environment.
  • Retain and expand retail lending and selling capabilities.
  • Understanding of customer needs and ability to identify opportunities.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Education & Certifications
  • Associates degree or equivalent in related field.
  • No specific certification required, but additional product knowledge or military service may be considered.
