As a Security Professional supporting a government facility, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. * This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.

+ Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and communication protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor and vehicle activity.

+ Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and promptly communicate unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

+ Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Possess a college degree.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
