Senior Refrigeration Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial

• Assist in repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment for customers.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers and electrical/mechanical control devices safely and efficiently to exceed expectations.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment (air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, electric motors) safely and in a timely manner.
• Provide preventative maintenance: diagnose malfunctions and operating deficiencies; ensure quality performance.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain accurate corporate and personal records of work history.
• Support department by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Pickup, deliver and install cases.
• Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from accredited vocational‑technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, display cases and walk‑in boxes is helpful.
• Good driving record; ability to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability is a basic requirement.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. unaided and sit or stand for several hours.
