Join Collins Aerospace Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) Engineering as a Dev Sec Ops  Software Engineer II to shape the future of military communications! Be part of a dedicated Dev Sec Ops  team developing cutting‑edge systems to keep military personnel safe, connected, and informed. Work with industry experts on advanced embedded software, cryptography, and state‑of‑the‑art computing architectures.

Here, you’ll play a critical Dev Sec Ops  role in designing and developing CI/CD solutions while working alongside top‑tier engineers and industry leaders. By harnessing advanced technologies, you’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible and support mission‑critical operations worldwide.

What You Will Do
  • Create Dev Sec Ops  pipelines for on‑prem embedded systems applications (not cloud based).
  • Integrate tooling, apps, and scripts into the development pipeline.
  • Select technologies to enable automation and increase workflow efficiency.
  • Develop applications and scripts to support integration and flow of software updates.
  • Maintain frameworks to automate testing, deployment, and delivery of software.
  • Work in an agile environment (SAFe).
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Git tooling experience such as Bit Bucket, Git Lab, Git Hub, or similar software.
  • CI/CD tooling experience such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar software.
  • Programming experience in languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Linux development environment experience.
  • Active U.S. government‑issued security clearance (must be transferable).
  • Typically requires a university degree and minimum two years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with standard full‑lifecycle software development practices and configuration‑management tools.
  • Experience developing and deploying containers such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or similar software.
  • Experience integrating tools using RESTful APIs.
  • Software artifact storage solutions experience such as JFrog Artifactory or similar software.
  • Configuration‑management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar software.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools administration.
  • Comfortable working with languages such as C, C++, and Java.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in multi‑threaded embedded application software engineering development and integration.
  • Experience working on an Agile team.
  • Proven ability to consistently deliver high‑quality results, meet project milestones, and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
