School Bus Driver Trainer

Requires a fully completed, on‑line application profile with the following documents scanned and attached:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent or higher degree
• Resume
• Valid State of California Class B-P Driver’s License;
• Possession of a valid California “School Bus Driver Training Instructor” Certificate
• Possession of a valid California Highway Patrol School Bus Driver’s Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Valid CPR Certificate (Adult, Infant, Child)
• Valid Medical Certificate (DL-51A & DL-51)
• Current DMV Driving Record Three years of School Bus driving experience required Prior to employment all candidates must successfully complete the District's clearance process, which includes: drug/alcohol testing, physical and back evaluation

Salary schedule beginning 7.1.25 will include a 2% salary schedule increase and a 2% off-schedule payment at year-end pending ratification 2026–2027:
Salary schedule increase of 60% of the statutory funded COLA, plus any funded ongoing augmentations as provided in the State Budget Act; 2% off-schedule payment at year-end pending ratification 2027–2028:
Salary schedule increase of 50% of the statutory funded COLA, plus any funded ongoing augmentations as provided in the State Budget Act; 2% off-schedule payment at year-end pending ratification
