Core Responsibilities
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Achieves financial objectives as it relates to staffing, supplies, and carriers.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manages a team of 6+ managers, supervisors, and leads.
  • Supervises staff of 70+ associates.
  • Oversees the operation of 1 facility as well as communicates with multiple 3PLs.
  • Recruits, interview, hire, and trains new staff.
  • Updates SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) wherever necessary.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Assists with any audit whenever necessary.
  • Trains staff and adheres to company policies.
Skills and

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with warehousing programs required. SAP/ERP/WM/Master Data abilities strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with Excel highly desirable.
  • Experience with Omni Channel preferred.
  • Experience with drop ship, wholesale (majors), e‑commerce.
  • Knowledge of customer/vendor compliance.
  • Experience running a multiple facility operation, supervising 75+ employees with multiple shifts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi‑task with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish highly desirable.
Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000

Actual base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and relevant job & industry experience.

Location

This position will report to the Director of Distribution and will be working on‑site at our Fullerton, CA office.
