Overview of

Job Description:

This position is responsible for assisting in operating the label room and its associated tasks. This includes the printing and distribution of labels to primarily fulfil work order requests from production and warehouse, following established procedures and protocol.

Specific

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use computer software (bartender) to run labels.
• Operate the label printers.
• Use a counting scale as needed.
• Report all label room issues immediately to the lead or supervisor.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all food safety policies and procedures.

Administrative and

Other Responsibilities:

• Monitor the departments continuous adherence to established procedures.
• Availability for weekend work as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math / calculator use.
• RF Scanner experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Typical Physical Demands:

• Use of paper cutter as needed.
• Able to operate a manual pallet jack.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Lift boxes weighing 20 lbs.

• Fast paced production warehouse environment with variable temperatures due to refrigeration and climate.
