Asphalt Prep & Milling Foreman – Lead Foundation and Surface Preparation for Mid-Missouri Paving Projects

Job Overview

Salary/Pay Rate: $28 - $35+ per hour plus Performance Bonuses.

Monday - Friday, Overtime, Occasional nights and weekends.

Residential Driveways, Commercial Parking Lots, Subdivisions, and Municipal Work.

You will hold a critical leadership role as the "first-in" team that sets the stage for every successful paving project. By ensuring every site is perfectly clean, level, and graded, you directly impact the longevity and quality of our asphalt work. How

You Will Make an Impact

Direct prep and milling crews on diverse projects to ensure job sites are structurally sound and ready for paving.

Oversee the operation of milling machines and pavement cleanup to maintain a high-efficiency workflow.

Execute the tear-out and replacement of base rock and gravel to create a durable foundation for new asphalt.

Coordinate daily with the Paving Superintendent and dispatch to align preparation schedules with paving timelines.

Monitor crew productivity and safety standards to ensure every project stays on schedule and under budget.

Track material usage and equipment needs meticulously to prevent downtime on the job site.

Mentor crew members on proper grading and preparation techniques to uphold MoSEAL's reputation for quality.

Required Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience in asphalt preparation, milling, or earthwork.

Proven leadership experience running field crews in a construction or paving environment.

Valid Class E Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Current OSHA 10 certification.

Ability to work effectively on both prevailing and non-prevailing wage projects.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

High School Diploma or GED.

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Local residency in the Mid-Missouri area.

Advanced experience in sub-grade stabilization and complex drainage grading.
