Teller, Customer Service​/HelpDesk

Overview

Central Bank is seeking a qualified Teller to work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement. The Teller will represent the organization with a professional image and serve as the face and voice of the company. This is a relationship-driven role focused on understanding customers’ financial needs and providing solutions.

• Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner, via lobby, drive-thru, night-drop, mail, or ATM.
• Balance the assigned cash drawer and research differences where applicable.
• Actively listen to customers and communicate in a positive, professional manner at all times; remain courteous in difficult situations.
• Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services in a customer-centric way; make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
• Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures and regulations.
• Cash handling and/or strong customer service experience preferred.

• Basic math skills, PC and typing skills, and the ability to count U.S. currency.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
• Look for cross-sell opportunities in a customer-centric manner.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Must be available to work all throughout the year. This is not a seasonal position.
