Job Title: Creative Services and Broadcasting Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Athletic Communications

Job Type: This is a full time, exempt position.

The Creative Services and Broadcasting Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the overall University sports information department.

• Oversee William Woods University athletics broadcasts in conjunction with the Heart of America Conference, the NAIA, and other University partners.
• Photography
• Home game management
• Creating student centric content highlighting success, on and off the playing field.

• Maintaining Athletic Statistics
• Editing the Athletic website
• Press Releases
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in sports information is preferred.
• BA in Journalism, Communications, Graphic Arts, Sports Management, or some other related field.
• Experience on or around sports teams, as well as statistical record keeping.
• Strong skills or background in web pages.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated to exceed expectations, with the ability to motivate others to do likewise.

• Ability to climb several flights of stairs several times each day.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Ability to speak and read English fluently.
• Ability to hear.
• Ability to travel.
• Must possess a valid Missouri driver's license and adhere to the WWU vehicle policy.

• This is an exempt position requiring 40+ hours per week, and a 12-month position with evening and weekend work as needed.
