Certified nursing assistant
Provide basic nursing care and support (VS, hygiene, ambulation, transfers)
Documentation of patient location, status, activities
Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital
Assist in keeping patient common areas clean
Contributes to patient/staff safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
Initiates corrective action as appropriate
Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating changes in patients' conditions
Complies with FSH infection prevention and control policies and procedures
Demonstrates procedural competencies for assigned tasks
Complies with all FSH/DMH policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Other duties as assigned- CNAs will be scheduled to work four 12-hour shifts per week, either day shift (6:45 am 7:15 pm) or night shift (6:45 pm 7:15 am). This may include weekend and holiday coverage.
