As a Cake Decorator, you’ll create beautifully decorated baked goods, provide outstanding customer service, and help maintain a clean, organized bakery environment in a fast-paced grocery store setting.

• Decorate, package, and display cakes and bakery products
• Prepare baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist customers with cake orders, special requests, and product recommendations
• Maintain inventory and monitor product freshness using FIFO procedures
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained
• Operate bakery equipment and maintain knowledge of kitchen safety procedures
• Operate cash register (POS) and ensure accurate transactions
• Support promotions, upselling, and seasonal bakery displays
• Maintain a clean, organized bakery and food prep area

• Previous bakery, cake decorating, food service, or retail experience preferred
• Creative attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to follow recipes, food safety, and sanitation procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Food Handler Permit required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

• Fast-paced grocery store bakery and deli environment
• Exposure to hot baking equipment and cold storage areas
• Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
