Position Summary
Position Summary…
ResponsibilitiesLeads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
Tour to Teach:
Communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manages and supports customer service initiatives, such as community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.
Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process‑improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses, monitoring sales, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition and promoting belonging in the workplace, and recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying goals and objectives, building accountability, and measuring progress.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Builds high‑performing teams that embrace differences, fostering a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, creating opportunities where all associates can thrive.
Attracts and retains the best talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others’ contributions and accomplishments.

Minimum Qualifications- 2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements, completion of a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Associates required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
