Security Officer

Securitas seeks a Full-Time Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets at client sites. In this role, you will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and observe activities using both physical presence and security technology. Responsibilities include controlling entry, responding to alarms and incidents, writing detailed reports, and supporting emergency procedures. You will interact with clients, visitors, and staff, delivering professional customer service while enforcing safety and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and patrol assigned areas to deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards
• Control access by verifying identification, badges, and visitor credentials
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, escalating to supervisors or authorities as needed
• Complete accurate incident, daily activity, and shift reports
• Operate security technology such as surveillance cameras, access-control systems, and communication devices
• Provide professional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees
• Follow post orders, safety procedures, and Securitas policies at all times
• Support emergency procedures including evacuations, first response, and crowd control
