SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated individual to provide onsite deskside Tier 2 support within our Infrastructure team. The role requires flexibility to work both 1st and 3rd shifts, with the assignment starting on the 1st shift but may transition to the 3rd shift during busy seasons.
Responsibilities- Deploy new computers to replace outdated ones.
- Upgrade operating systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Image computers and dispose of outdated assets.
- Utilize strong software skills, including Power Shell and Python.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving printers, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Wear metatarsal safety boots from the first day of employment.
- Document and distribute information, such as updating assets in Service Now and following knowledge base articles for problem resolution.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and data supporting processes or operations.
- Communicate effectively via email and create and maintain basic documents and records.
- Recognize and resolve problems with pre-established solutions, and report issues outside the scope of established procedures.
- Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals.
- Proficiency in standard desktop applications like Microsoft Office, and internet functions.
- Understanding of computer security policies and general security concepts.
- Ability to drive locally.
- 1 year or more IT experience preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered.
- Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
- High School or secondary diploma or equivalent.
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $25.00 - $25.00/hr non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including relevant skills, education and experience.
