The ideal candidate brings at least two years of nursing experience, with prior OB/GYN or women's health experience strongly preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys building meaningful patient relationships, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and is passionate about providing exceptional ambulatory care. What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct nursing support to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory clinic setting.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and other clinical team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Perform patient assessments, triage calls, medication management, patient education, and follow-up care.
  • Support prenatal, gynecologic, and women's health services through clinical excellence and compassionate care.
  • Serve as a patient advocate by addressing concerns, coordinating resources, and helping patients navigate their care experience.
  • Assist with care planning, referrals, and coordination of services across the continuum of care.
  • Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and compliance with established clinical protocols.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support staffing and patient care needs across Wake Med OB/GYN practice locations when necessary.
What We're Looking For
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required.
  • OB/GYN, Women's Health, Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, or ambulatory care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Genuine interest in women's healthcare and supporting patients throughout all stages of life.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
  • Self-motivated professional who takes initiative and embraces accountability.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and service excellence.
  • Flexibility to travel to other Wake Med OB/GYN practice locations as needed.
  • Passion for delivering patient-centered care and creating an exceptional patient experience.
