Quality Assurance Specialist

Location:

Fuquay Varina, NC

Shift: 1st | Monday - Friday | 7AM
-3PM

Pay: $25 per hour

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to help maintain compliance, support audits, manage quality documentation, investigate issues, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position offers significant visibility across operations and the opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.

Responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Specialist
  • Maintain and control quality documentation, SOPs, and records
  • Support ISO, customer, and internal audits
  • Participate in investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and compliance reviews
  • Support employee training and quality initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and error prevention
  • Partner with production and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements for the Quality Assurance Specialist
  • 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and procedures
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferences for the Quality Assurance Specialist
  • ISO and/or cGMP experience
  • Internal auditing experience
  • CAPA and investigation experience
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, packaging, printing, food, or other regulated manufacturing experience
