Supplement the basic educational program for the EL students and to ensure that they achieve high standards in core subjects.
Behaves ethically and refrains from disclosing information of a confidential nature
Demonstrates consistent integrity, dependability, reliability, and professionalism
Maintains speech, appearance, and behavior, which are professionally appropriate
Demonstrates a supportive attitude toward the school programs
Works with the school principals, counselors, classroom teachers, Title I Resource Teachers, and parents designing and/or implementing researched-based materials to meet the needs of LEP students
Assist the regular classroom teacher in identifying EL student's academic strengths and weaknesses in core subjects
Correlates EL student educational materials and services with the regular classroom instruction to ensure academic success of EL students
Assist teachers with EL modifications
Orders supplemental educational research-based materials from the Title I Parent Center for EL students
Provides feedback of the success of the researched-based instructional materials used in the program
Enrolls EL students, communicates with non-English speaking parents and interprets school forms/policies into the parent's home language
Serves as the school liaison for the EL community making home visits, and assisting the EL Parent Liaison
Provides supplemental instruction for LEP students
Maintains daily records, notes of activities and vital information on each EL students for end of the year evaluation
Assists with professional development for classroom teachers and other school staff relative to EL policies, procedures and instructional strategies
