Position Title: Site Coordinator
Hours: 12-18 hours per week
Job SummaryThe Site Coordinator manages and oversees daily operations at a 21st-century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) program site. This includes directing lesson plans, supporting staff, engaging with students and parents, and collaborating with community partners. The coordinator also ensures the safety and smooth operation of program activities, including homework, tutoring, enrichment opportunities, and snacks. This role also includes administrative tasks such as tracking attendance, completing weekly EZ Reports, and submitting monitoring and annual reports to the Program Director.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Coordination:
- Design and implement programs to support academic growth in core subjects, meeting subgrant objectives.
- Coordinate the delivery of curriculum, instruction, and assessments for targeted students in the after school environment.
- Evaluate and adjust class offerings to ensure students' needs are met effectively.
Staff Supervision and Development:
- Supervise site instructors and support staff, including hiring recommendations, completing agreements, observing classes, and monitoring performance.
- Establish work schedules, determine workloads, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison with community partners, school staff, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure program success.
- Consult with the Program Director, principals, and teachers to align program goals with school objectives.
Student Support and Monitoring:
- Develop lesson plans, deliver instruction, and evaluate student progress in collaboration with the Project Director.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment for all students.
- Track and monitor student attendance, including collecting rosters and maintaining attendance databases.
Administrative and Reporting Duties:
- Complete and submit weekly EZ Reports, state monitoring, and annual reports as required.
- Support project evaluation efforts by gathering and organizing data, administering surveys, and assisting ALSDE evaluators.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Organize program activities, staff training, and development sessions.
- Ensure external program elements introduced by partner organizations are integrated seamlessly.
- Provide professional development opportunities for staff.
- Support summer programs, if scheduled.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required:
- Certification:
Valid teacher certification. - Experience:
Several years of teaching experience. - Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and program management tools.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or higher in education or a related field.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Knowledge of grant writing, research, and program management.
- Teaching certification in core subject areas such as math, ELA, social studies, or science.
- Experience managing staff, students, and service providers.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Capacity to interact effectively with diverse groups, including community members, students, and vendors.
