Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Gadsden, AL
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Call: Every other weekend, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Rate: $88/hour
Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. The technologist will provide high-quality patient care, ensure accurate imaging results, and maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Administer and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Perform and process scans per established protocols
- Evaluate image quality and report findings to the radiologist
- Ensure patient safety and radiation protection standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
- Graduate of an AMA‑accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Registered with ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT)
- State License as required
