Join a dynamic imaging team as a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Gadsden, AL, providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced in performing a range of nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Responsibilities- Administer a variety of nuclear isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate and regulate imaging equipment for accurate scanning and image capture
- Print, develop, and organize imaging films and digital records
- Follow established safety procedures for radiation protection and isotope handling
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain documentation and quality control per facility and regulatory standards
- Certification: CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N)
- License:
Active state license as a general radiographer or NMT - Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine experience - BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
