Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Call: Every other weekend, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join a dynamic imaging team as a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Gadsden, AL
, providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced in performing a range of nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Administer a variety of nuclear isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Operate and regulate imaging equipment for accurate scanning and image capture
Print, develop, and organize imaging films and digital records
Follow established safety procedures for radiation protection and isotope handling
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain documentation and quality control per facility and regulatory standards
RequirementsCertification: CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N)
License: Active state license as a general radiographer or NMT
Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent Nuclear Medicine experience
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Education: Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
