Job DescriptionFederal Technical Program Manager – Senior TPM to drive execution and operational performance of a secure cloud environment in the federal space. The role orchestrates daily technical operations of the IT Operations Center teams, aligning activities with program priorities and schedules, and partnering with customer, federal stakeholders, and HPE CSP technical teams.
Schedule- Some on‑site work (~25%) as required for network access
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm (flexibility required)
- Ability to support evening/weekend work when needed
- Participation in a rotating on‑call/operational support schedule
- US Citizenship required
- Currently active Secret Security Clearance
- Work model:
Flexible hybrid; onsite at customer location as required - DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) compliant – IAT Level I or IAM Level I certification required

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associate degree (technical field) with 6–8 years of relevant experience
- Strong technical program management skills focused on execution, scheduling, and operational coordination
- Proven experience managing IT operations, cloud services, or infrastructure programs in federal environments
- Deep understanding of ITSM, service operations, and MSP/CSP delivery models
- Working knowledge of:
- Cloud infrastructure and platforms
- Security operations and compliance
- Agile, Dev Ops, and CI/CD concepts
- Ability to translate technical execution into clear status, risk, and impact reporting
- Confident communicator with engineers, operations staff, and senior federal stakeholders
- Technical Operations Program Leadership
- Drive day‑to‑day execution of IT operations and cloud service activities to support program objectives.
- Convert program priorities into weekly and daily technical execution plans for CSP and MSP teams.
- Own operational schedules, task sequencing, and dependency management across infrastructure, platform, security, and service operations.
- Ensure teams are aligned on scope, priorities, and timelines, escalating conflicts or risks to the Program Leader as needed.
- Manage operational readiness for new capabilities, changes, and releases to ensure smooth transition to steady‑state operations.
- CSP / MSP Coordination & Execution Management
- Serve as the primary coordination point between the HPE CSP and the MSP.
- Define and manage daily engagement models, roles, and responsibilities between CSP and MSP teams.
- Ensure MSP operational activities align with CSP architectures, security controls, and service expectations.
- Coordinate incident response, problem management, maintenance windows, and change execution across providers.
- Track operational issues to resolution, ensuring accountability and timely closure.
- Schedule, Risk, and Dependency Management
- Build and maintain integrated technical schedules covering engineering, security, compliance, and operational activities.
- Identify and manage cross‑team dependencies, technical constraints, and operational risks.
- Proactively surface schedule impacts, resource contention, and execution risks to program leadership.
- Ensure operational milestones align with ATO, audit, and compliance timelines.
- Technical Governance & Service Management
- Oversee adherence to ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, configuration, and release management.
- Participate in and support Change Control Boards (CCB) and technical readiness reviews.
