Fryer Opr PRU 2nd Shift Gadsden AL

Responsibilities

• Inspect the fryer at start-up to ensure proper sanitation and correct assembly.
• Operate the fryer according to product specifications.
• Clean out grease traps and drip pans.
• Change oil as necessary.
• Stand or walk for long periods and bend or lift weights up to 70 pounds.
• Pace work quickly and reach, pull, push, and use stairs as needed.
• Work in heat, cold, high humidity, and wet floors while managing noise levels.
• Follow all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Use required personal protective equipment: hearing protection, insulated neoprene gloves, face shield, chemical splash goggles, chemical resistant apron, slip-resistant leather or rubber boots, and full-length pants (no shorts or tight-fitting pants; pants must not be tucked into boots).
• Undergo and maintain training in Fryer, Lockout/Tagout, Jack/Forklift, and Fire Extinguisher use.
• Adhere to safety protocols around pinch points, machine hazards, chemical hazards, and hot surfaces near ovens, fryers, and other cooking equipment.

• Minimum 3 months operator experience within the past 12 months, which may be from multiple employers.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
