Fryer Opr PRU 2nd Shift Gadsden AL

Responsibilities

• Inspect the fryer at start-up for proper sanitation, cleaning, and correct assembly.
• Operate the fryer according to product specifications.
• Clean grease traps and drip pans.
• Change oil as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.

• Minimum of 3 months of operator experience within the last 12 months.

• Work up to 7 days a week, 10‑hour shifts.
• Stand or walk for long periods, bend, lift up to 70 pounds.
• Reach, pull, push and use stairs as required.
• Work in heat, cold, high humidity, and wet floors; noise level may be high.

• Hearing protection, insulated neoprene gloves, face shield, chemical splash goggles, chemical‑resistant apron, slip‑resistant leather or rubber boots, full‑length pants (no shorts, no tight‑fitting or yoga‑style pants). Pants must not be tucked into boots.
• Required training: fryer, lockout/tagout, jack/forklift; fire extinguisher.
