Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Gadsden, Alabama

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Alabama (no encumbrances)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system

• Immediate start available for a 13-week travel contract in a dynamic Emergency Department setting
• Opportunity to expand clinical experience in a fast-paced emergency care environment
